Comprehensive 3PL Services: Enhancing Your Business with Eureka Pick & Pack

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ^

It’s a generic term that refers to the systems and processes that retailers have in place for sending orders and receiving stock. Most retailers have different processes, systems and requirements in place, but they all tend to follow the same basic principles and our systems are adaptable to meet those requirements.

How does it work?

  • Supplier and Retailer reach agreements for prices, stock levels and timelines
  • The Retailer creates an order in their system and sends it to a third party that converts the data.
  • Eureka receives the order via the third party, we then forward it to the supplier for approval
  • Once approved, the order is picked and completed, we raise the ASN Advanced Shipping Notice- a virtual invoice and forward the data to the retailer before the stock is sent.
  • The stock is received by the retailer and is scanned against the ASN data to ensure all stock has arrived and to easily enter it into their own systems.

Based on the ASN data, the retailer raises an electronic invoice and pays the supplier.

Business to Business (B2B) ^

A transaction that occurs between two business such as a manufacturer and wholesaler and wholesaler to retailer. The three main forms of B2B that we participate as a service provider include:

  1. Business to EDI
  2. Business to consumer
  3. Business wholesaler & retailer

Business to Consumer (B2C)

The process of selling products directly from a business to a consumer. Many of these businesses are online and sell direct to the consumer via a website. From here, we can pick those orders for you and send them off.

Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) Labelling ^

This enables shipments to be tracked from sender to recipient. The SSCC is an 18-digit identification number that can be used by all parties without interruption across the supply chain. If you don’t need a warehouse but need EDI, we can receive and scan-pack your stock for you.

Shipping Containers

At our warehouse, we can receive and unpack 40” and 20” containers of stock sent from your manufacturer.
